At TAP° Media House, we are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data when you create an account, purchase our products, or interact with our website:
- Identity Data: Full name, Email address.
- Technical Data: IP address, Browser type, Operating system, and Login timestamps.
- Transaction Data: Details of digital kits or services you have purchased (Note: payment details are handled securely by Razorpay and are not stored on our servers).
- Usage Data: Information on how you use our tools and website, tracked via cookies and Meta Pixel (with your consent).
2. Purpose of Collection
We process your personal data strictly for the following purposes:
- To provide and manage your account and purchased kits.
- To process payments and deliver digital goods.
- To monitor and log security events (such as login timestamps) to prevent fraud.
- To improve our website performance and marketing efforts (subject to cookie consent).
3. Your Rights (DPDP Act)
Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:
- Right to Access: You can view your purchase history and account details in the "My Account" section.
- Right to Correction: You can request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure: You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time via the "Delete Account" button in your account dashboard.
- Right to Nominate: You may nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Analytics and advertising cookies are switched off by default. Nothing is sent to Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel unless you press "Accept" on the cookie notice shown when you first visit. Strictly necessary cookies (sign-in and security) are always active, as they are required for the site to function.
You may change or withdraw your choice at any time — withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving consent:

We also honour the browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, tracking stays off and you will not be shown the notice at all.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase, which implements industry-standard security protocols. We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
6. Business Contact Data (Prospects and Leads)
Sections 1–5 describe data belonging to people who use our website or buy our products. This section is different: it covers people we hold data about who have never contacted us. If you have received an email from us out of the blue, or your business appears in one of our lead products, this is the section that applies to you.
- What we collect: business name, category, website address, publicly listed business phone number and email address, street address, city/state/country, and public rating and review counts.
- Where it comes from: publicly available business listings and the business's own public website. We do not bypass logins, paywalls or anti-bot protections, we do not purchase scraped personal data, and we do not collect personal data beyond what a business publishes as its own contact details.
- Why we hold it: to contact businesses about services that may be relevant to them, and — in our lead-generation products — to supply business contact lists to our subscribers, who become independently responsible for their own use of that data.
- How to get out: every marketing email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link that requires no reply and no account. Unsubscribing is permanent and is checked before every subsequent send. You can also email contact@tapmediahouse.com to have your details removed entirely, including from lists already delivered to subscribers.
- Retention: prospect records are deleted on request. Your email address is then kept on a suppression list indefinitely, and deliberately so: the only way to guarantee we never contact you again is to remember not to. That list is used for nothing else, is never sent to subscribers, and holds only your address, the date and how the opt-out was made.
Where the contact details of a sole proprietor or an individual trader are personal data under the DPDP Act, the rights in section 3 apply to them in full, and you do not need an account with us to exercise them.
7. Grievance Redressal
If you have any questions, concerns, or grievances regarding your personal data, you may contact our Grievance Officer:
Name: Data Protection Officer
Email: contact@tapmediahouse.com
Response Time: We aim to resolve all grievances within 7 working days.
